fresh winds blow with steady might

she sits at her stairs
her long hair covers her face
she cries with sweet soulful memories
of friendships shared

she sits alone
or so she thinks
but right beside her
stands the lover’s soul
holding her gently

she sheds her fears
as she touches the light
that guides her to joy
and sweet delight

he leads her to their special place
of sweet soulful memories
filled with the scent of love
filled with the warmth
never ever to be replaced

i could see what is inside

then we would no longer hide

if you could peel away the layers
i imagine you’d have so much to say
like how are you this morning
and i love rainy days

i wrote this with my son in mind. he inspires me to explore and express what is inside.

sometimes life can throw you a huge curve in the road. something pleasent or something not so pleasant.

if you can hold keep from falling from that curve and stay strong you will over come any obstacle.

accept all the curves of life. as they say “roll with the punches”.
